sometimes i hate TV

Jennifer Love Hewitt is in some new movie on Oxygen (”an Oxygen Original”) and the title of is something like, “True Stories of a Sociopathic Social Climber.”

Not only is this the worst title ever, especially since it appears that they are trying to make her a sympathetic character, but this movie also has “Joseph Lawrence” in it.

Wait, Joseph Lawrence? As in, JOEY Lawrence? As in, the doofus middle brother from Blossom? And he’s the gay best friend to (the other) J.Lo?

Wow. Guess he got a new agent. And she needs one.

LOL! That reminds about how Marky Mark is now the very serious actor “Mark Wahlberg” :)

The difference being that Mark Wahlberg can sometimes actually act.

And “True Stories of Whatever” is based on that book of the same title, which was a book club selection for…Good Morning America or Regis and Kelly a couple of years ago. *sigh* I think Oprah is actually on the right track with selecting from accepted classics for her book club, even if I violently disagree with a few of her choices.

The actual title of the movie is “Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber.” It was based on the book by Adele Lang. And as far as the movie goes it was a decent chick flick—and not to be taken seriously. JLH was actually a pretty decent “bitch”–which is not normal for her to play. It was much better then those victim movies over on Lifetime. –??Why does everything have to be filled with some profound message when associated with a women’s network? Can’t women just have fun and veg out on a saturday night?
