movie love
I love An Affair to Remember. Not just because I’m a sap, but because it’s a lovely movie.
One note: Cary Grant has a major perma-tan. It’s OK. He’s still an icon.

I’m doing a little template maintenance around here. You might have noticed some messiness if you stopped by at the right moment. All should be well now, but if you notice anything wonky, let me know.

You May Be a Bit Dependent … |
![]() You’re more than a little preoccupied with being abandoned. You need a lot of support in your life, at all times. It’s difficult for you to survive on your own… And you don’t reallly think you ever could. |
I have a nervous twitching in my gut today.
I don’t really know why—things seem to be going pretty well lately. Maybe it’s just all the change and excitement. Maybe it’s because we got the inspection addendum back from our buyer today and he’s nickel-and-diming us on repairs. Maybe it’s because we’re looking at selling one of our cars before we move. Maybe it’s that I’m running budget numbers left and right for the fall and trying to figure out how we’ll afford it all.
Whatever it is, I’ve felt all morning like I’ve forgotten something important, or like I’m waiting to hear bad or good news. I feel like I’m anticipating something, but there’s nothing to anticipate.
