they say you start to dream in languages when you’re learning them
Last night, I dreamed about law for the first time. I don’t clearly remember the dream now, but I do know it involved a trial of some kind, some adventures ensuing from my trying to take depositions, and (maybe?) a car chase.
It was definitely a Law & Order type dream, rather than a C-SPAN type dream. Is my subconscious telling me I need more pop culture?

Dreaming about the law, that can’t be a good sign. The car chase sounds cool though.
At least you’re years away from the “missed the dispositive motion deadline” dream.
Ok, I had a dream, but it wasn’t even a dream about “law” per se. Not even a dream about “law school.” I had a dream about READING my case book. Yeah.
Kim, that’s AWESOME.
My first law dream was one in which I was involved in some kind of real life torts hypo, and as this crazy scene was unfolding, in my dream I was analyzing all the torts that were occuring. It was pretty disturbing to be able to dream the elements of negligence.
